Retire Inspired Book Recommendation

Retire Inspired Book Recommendation

| July 19, 2016

The newest book in VWM’s library is Retire Inspired by Chris Hogan. This book is great book for people in their 20’s and 30’s to read.

Chris offers retirement advice so you don’t have to retire broke, stressed, and working long after you want to. You can retire inspired!

One of the reasons we like this book so well is that the principals taught in this book align with what we instruct a lot of our clients and friends that are just starting out to do.

First, you start with the vision or dream of what you want your retirement to look like and then you make a plan to get there.

Sounds simple and it can be, if you are wise with your money and time.

Chris tells a story about a man named Jo who retires with $1.4 mil. Yet he had never made more than $50,000 a year in his life. He was able to retire, because he was “allergic” to debt (drove a car that was a decade old), worked hard, saved, invested, and had been generous with his giving.

Joe started with a dream of retirement and made a plan and now he was reaping the benefits. We love hearing stories like that and love helping people achieve their vision of retirement. That is why we focus a lot on retirement planning and education.
