Springtime in Eastern Oregon

Springtime in Eastern Oregon

| April 27, 2016

All of us at Vision Wealth Management have been enjoying the beautiful weather.   I had a great horseback ride to Antelope Peak last week. Thought you might enjoy this photo.

Interesting Facts:

Spring and April go hand in hand. April 15, traditionally represents the end of tax time.   There is another interesting April date which is April 24th. It is the day when the United States, as a whole has earned enough money to pay its total tax bill for the year, according to The Tax Foundation. For Oregonians, April 24th, is also the day when Oregonians have also earned enough to pay their total state tax bill.   State Tax Freedom Day varies from state to state, with the residents of Mississippi having the lowest average tax burden, April 5. The highest is Connecticut, May 21.

Taxes aren’t going away. If you would like to review ways to potentially reduce your taxes for 2016, please give me a call. We can review investments such as municipal bonds, tax deferred annuities and   taking full advantage of retirement saving plans.-

“I am proud to be paying taxes in the United States. The only thing is – I could be just as proud for half the money.”
